I just thought of an interesting 'game' we could play. Add up both the land areas of all the countries you've ever visited, as well as the combined populations, and see what the result is. Kind of random I know, I was thinking about population distribution, but I thought it might be interesting to compare.

If you wish to 'participate', these lists might make it easier:

Although I've only been to 8 countries, I've been to numerous provinces in China, every state/territory in Australia and 16 American states, which is the equivalent of countries in Europe. I've seen quite a lot of each country I've been to - not just one or two cities. Still, I don't consider myself well-travelled at all and hope to see as many places as I can before I kick it. Either way, I'm pretty thankful I've got the opportunity to travel to the places I have, as the majority of the world's population does not have that luxury.

The five most poplulous countries that I've NOT been to have a total of 430-million. (Japan, Philippines, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan), so I guess the ones I've been to probably have 6 billion or so.
