Just suppose there were another major World War soon.
How would life as we know it now be affected?
Rail travel in the states, air travel world wide, shops and stores plus tourism, jobs etc.

Since the advent of nuclear weapons we CAN'T have world wars, which is why they stopped. If we tried it, it'd end in a nuclear holocaust and we'd lose everything.

I think she is already going on and a very long time, why the word war must be linked to the mass killings of firearms? We know how our governments have other programs and technologies for military action in other ways. The overthrow of the governments of one of them, the mass of propaganda, the CIA even in this very successful. Climate weapons which has America and Russia, you think of it? Today control the weather, our countries have been very successful, you can cause drought in America's future in Russia and Vice versa, no matter where we are, and not only droughts, and tsunamis and hurricanes, floods and even earthquakes. By the way in the creation of artificial earthquakes in any point of the world has succeeded Russia during the Soviet period.
Was the program which allowed to earthquake the required output the right place and in the future in Russia.
At that time all the soap industry (it was the largest in the world) worked on this program.
can more. - the essence is in the 1 - drilling wells in the land of more than 1 km.(this hole was in a certain place of the strata of the earth) 2 - in this borehole filled with all the soap that we produced for this. 3 - the dropping of mini nuclear bomb in the well. After the earthquake could happen there where you want to be. The program was successful. Another project loud the times of the USSR, was a scientist in the USSR which is defined as the impact on America without affecting America itself. The essence was to turn all the rivers of Russia. The project was fully prepared, But they refused to do it, but it could realize in a current of 2 years in the USSR. If this project is launched, then the whole of North America would be in the snow and it would be very cold in America, Russiaon the contrary, it would be possible palms and bananas grow.
