The Earth has a total surface area of 196.9 million square miles (510.1 million sq. km).

The terrestrial surface area of the Earth is 57.2 million square miles (148 million sq. km).

Africa has a surface area of 11.6 square million miles (30.22 million sq. km).

Unless you have some defintion of 'world' that I have not considered, I think you may be mistaken.
