Swedish (Finnish seemed to be pretty much the same ), Austrian, Polish, Czech and Slovakian food pretty much kicks ass.

Ah, maybe that's a bit harsh -- some of those Eastern European dishes are good and hearty and stick right to your ribs. Still, I'm going with North Korean. Tree bark with a grass-and-grubs side salad makes for spectacular "famine-chic" cuisine.
