Asian Canadians are now 15%-16% of the total population of Canada. In contrast African Americans are 13%-14% of the population of the USA.

But if you combine the populations of the GTA, GMA and GVA you are at almost half the population of Canada. Not to mention a sizable native population everywhere else.. Not sure about Calgary (I assume it is becoming increasing multicultural), Ottawa and Edmonton.

Not even 5 years ago, I would go to Aurora, Georgetown or Acton and play a little mental game of spot the minority...anywhere....they could not be found.

Netherlands, considering it can be so multicultural and it barely has countryside.. so everywhere you go is urban place and there are foreigners from everywhere in the world, in fact amsterdam is the proper city in the world with more nationalities registred living in. In countries like france or UK you have large country side areas where there are little to none foreigners, same applies to large areas of US, Canada and Australia.

There are areas in the country areas of Australia where there is a large number of foreigners. This is especially true in the farming jobs, and mining jobs. I used live in a town that was outside the city and the main industry of the town was due to farming and there were a large number of foreigners. People on working visas if they want to stay for 2 years have to work 3 months on a farms or in work in a rural industry area. If they don't work on a farm or rural area for 3 months then they are only allowed to stay in Australia for a year. In addition large amount of pacific islanders come to Australia on working visas to work on the farms as well.

These things don't work. You can't just go on a site where you can make your own polls, create a page having a tittle like yours and ask people what they think. Also this is a U.S site and most people on here are American. Look I understand that it's good to be proud of your nationality as am I. I am Australian and after looking at this poll I realised that people just voted on what their opinion is. You can't be close minded and bias on these things otherwise they're just simply considered "Amateur" I'm not going to be bias and say that Australia is more culturally diverse than the U.S. But I have taken a course at CIT (Canberra institute of technology) and know for an acutal legitimate fact that we are the second most multicultural country in the world. If you want to know why then look up asylum seekers and found out why they run from their country to find salvation.

Like so many people have said before
Papua New Guinea
Solomon Islands
Nigeria
Indonesia
All these countries have more than 100 ethnic groups and 1 or 2 of these have somewhere around 1000 ethnic groups. This is multicultural. I choose Nigeria over the others as it is one of the few countries in the world were their is no majority ethnic group.
I voted for U>S cause I didn't see other. Because many ethnic groups are in the U.S also.
