I'm not sure I'd consider "Latin America" a continent.

Which continent would you rather live in.
Neither

What are the pros and cons about living in each continent?
They are both sunny; Africa is close to Europe and Asia; Latin America is close to USA and Canada; Both are sunny; They both have nice scenery; poverty is a issue in both locations, more so in Africa.

Same here, however I would prefer living anywhere in Latin America over Africa (aside from certain countries such as South Africa) anyday just for quality of life reasons alone.

Well I'd rather live in Latin America. But if I had to choose between El Salvador and South Africa, I'd choose South Africa. But I would much rather live in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica, Venezuela, or Mexico compared to most African countries. South Africa seems like an exciting place to live though! Maybe some north African countries too.

I'd live in South America, probably Argentina, Peru or Chile.

If i would make a top 20 Latin American/African countries that i would live in, South Africa would be the only African country on my list ranking somwhere between 6th and 9th.

Culture : Both are pretty multi-cultural. With Latin America being more multi racial if that counts for anything
History : Africa duh
Food : not sure. Have heard Ghanaian food is insanely good. But then again so is Peruvian
Friendly People : Tied I'd think. Have been to 2 countries on each continent and both had equally nice people.
Attractive People: South African men are handsome, Venezuelan women are knock outs.
Entertainment: no clue
Employment Opportunities: I'd think Latin America. But I know Africa has been growing leaps and bounds in the last few years
Affordability: both can be as affordable or pricey as you make it
Safety: Drug related crime is a problem throughout Latin America. Highest murder rate per capita would be in mainly South or Central American countries. South Africa is the only country that is comparable in Africa.
Climate: Both regions have several different climates. I'd say even
Scenary: Both extremely beautiful and under visited parts of the world.
Overall to live in .... I'd choose Namibia or Botswana in Africa. And Brazil in Latin America.

It would be easier to be 'comfortable' in South or Central America, but Africa would be much more interesting, diverse and unforgettable.
