It's actually a UNESCO World Heritage site. The blasted thing took way longer and cost way more than planned. It was a construction site between 1958 and when it opened in 1973, but it is a unique marvel of architecture.

Maybe you could call it a MODERN manmade wonders of the world, but not of all time, you could put Forth rail bridge in Scotland in that modern category also, opened on 4 March 1890. It is a Category A listed building and was nominated by the British government in May 2011 for addition to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Scotland. Until 1917, when the Quebec Bridge was completed, the Forth Bridge had the longest single cantilever bridge span in the world. It still has the world's second-longest single span. The bridge is, even today, is regarded as an engineering marvel.
