Compare them on climate, historical sites, scenery, leisure friendliness, cuisine, tourist attractions, infrastructure, nightlife, entertainment, urban parks, transit, airports, religion, politics, whatever else makes you happy I suppose.

Fortaleza but I think Valencia is a better city. I still would pick Fortaleza though

I doubt many people have been to both Brisbane and Fortaleza.
