Italy
LIKE:
Food and food culture= They rank probably at #1 in the world
History,Arts, literature, culture in general= The contribution of Italy is so huge that it's pointless to write about it. Suffice to say that Italy has more UNESCO sites than China which is something like 30 bigger.
Language= It's considered to be one of the most beautiful and best sounding languages in the world (looooong rivalry with French here). I personally love Italian, although sometimes I do pity its irrelevance.
Weather= Overall Italy has excellent climatic features which make Italy a good place to live in.
Landscape and scenery= Italy, in the proper cases, is a wonderful place to live in.
Quality of Life= Despite all problems, in Italy I do live well.
Italian manufacturing industries and its excellencies= Ferrari,Maserati, Architecture and Fashion design etc

DISLIKE
Our politicians
Overall the Italian leader class
Mass Media in Italy
State of culture in Italy
Widespread corruption
Mafia,N'Drangheta, Sacra Corona Unita and Camorra
High taxes
The de-industrialization process running
Italian riddicolous foreign policy
Corruption, arrogance and brutality of Police (including Carabinieri etc)
Unemployment
How this country seems a country for elders, run by elders, thought for elders and governed for elders
The continuous division between North & South
Horribly handled immigration
Inefficiency of the State regarding several issues: Mafia, corruption, bureaucracy, repairing after natural disaster, providing assistance to Italians etc
Bureaucracy= A nightmare.
Crazy obsession about football= I am a supporter and I do slightly follow it, but many people (99% men) seem like their own life depends on it.
No Patriotism at all= Only when our National Football Team then magically everybody is a Patriot
How Labour market is governed= Too many underpaid (or not paid at all) stages, apprenticeships, brief hiring just to exploit you
How our Welfare is being gradually destroyed
How Italy can't make its voice heard across the EU

Lol, so true. I am independent and the alarmism and sensationalism on that channel seem like a joke.

Crime is fairly low.
Visa-free travel is second to none.
Beautiful countrysides.
Very multicultural and diverse.
London, financial capital of the world.
State of art educational institutions.
Huge contribution to the motor industry.
Diverse car cultures.
One of the best football league in the world.
Top Gear.
Plenty of cities to suit everyone.
Great sense of humour.
Great food (well, they are foreign cuisines, but atleast they are all here and they all delicious)
Good music.
Great nights out.

DISLIKES

Growing nationalism (a certain politician encouraging disgusting discrimination against eastern europeans)
Pot-holes, lots of them.
Fear mongering newspapers.
Weather.
Dieing economy. (severe trade deficits, too much welfare, consumer culture, HUGE debt with budget deficits year on year)
Inefficient socialist economy.
Nanny state.
High taxes.
Sticking our noses into other countries business, getting involved in unnecessary wars, USA style.
Binge drinking culture.
Celebrity-wannabe culture.
Growing internet censorship.
Cyclists/Bus Drivers.
Straight women starting to dress like/act like men. Straight men starting to dress like/act like women.
An educational system that creates workers rather than entrepreneurs (which is what this country needs right about now)

Yes. When the technocrat government was formed, Monti rushed to the North to assure that Italy will be fine. Appeared on the Finnish national television and cried out that Italy is paying and not receiving bailouts. I thought that was a bit embarrassing. One of the largest economies in Europe shouldn't do that. But it was a welcomed change from the Berlusconi-era "ugh, Finland, nothing to see there and you're boring and your food is crap" -attitude.

Norway:

Best:

Economy
Almost full employment
Income equality
Welfare system
Health care system (compared to most other countries)
Little corruption
Well-organized
Consumer rights
Low crime level
Beautiful nature (Lofoten, Western Norway)
Urban development in the Oslo area (Fjord City project)

Worst:
Road, underground (Oslo) and train infrastructure (The Oslo Airport Express is an exception)
Uncompetitive price level
Exploitation of the welfare system
Oil dependency
Favouring electric cars (Tesla Model S was the best-selling car in March 2014)
Drug trade and crime in certain parts of Eastern Oslo
Too many criminals from other countries, especially Eastern Europe (1/3 of all inmates are non-residents)
Entrepreneurial spirit (the Swedes got it)
Housing market - high prices (Oslo, Stavanger)
Small cities (Oslo is the only one of a decent size)
Weather and climate (short and often rainy summers)

- People who think our country is somehow better and greater than the other 100+ countries that exist.

-Thug culture, rap music culture. Being a "gangsta" is considered cool.

-Too many people here live to work, instead of working to live.

-Our gun rights I listed in the pros? Yeah those are slowly being taken away from us.

-Way too materalistic. Apple this, Apple that. A lot of importance is put on having the shiniest, newest car, the latest tablet, the most expensive clothes. You could say this feeds into the workaholic culture.

-The government/Obama/Obamacare

-Gay marriage is still frowned upon.

-Police brutality way too common, getting worse.

-Political correctness, everyone's a winner, you hurt my feelings apologize right now type of culture.
