Well it is a fact that Eurasia is a continent. But i've never heard anyone say Eurasia if they're not talking about continetal plates etc... Europe as a continent is more cultural.
Please answer my question, does the UK consider Eurasia to be a continent?
Geography classes in the states teach it that way but many people outside the United States refer to North, Central and South America as "the Americas" or "America"
This is NOT a thread about Europe, Asia, Latin America etc.............if you want to discuss that then please do so on another thread but don't hijack this one.
I love visiting the US. It has such incredible diversity and I have always found Americans very polite, welcoming, helpful, and generous. Often people who have never been to the US confuse Americans themselves with their foreign policy and it's a bad rap that Americans don't deserve. I certainly wouldn't mind living there for a few months but I am far to accustomed to my Canadian lifestlye and society that I think I would find the transition a bit difficult.
Australia is indeed a "lucky" country and a great one but I think the lack of social variety there would leave me rather bored. Geographically it is certainly diverse but it's society is basically the same no matter where you go. You don't get the huge regional difference in language, culture, history etc that you get in Canada.
Canada would be first if it had better weather For some reason I've never found Australia appealing. The accent gets on my nerves very quickly so hearing it all around me would be torture, lol.
