you might not accepting and tell us that britain is "so mixed" (we know that!) with the whole world endlessly... But yes, there is a look that is specifically british. It is not because many people do not fit in it that this look do not exist. "looks" are not a question of how each individual look (obviously people don't look the same way) but of the general impression that a groups of people made. "looks" are a question of statistics. I can spot a group of british tourists at 1km... If in a group of say 6 persons, only 1 or 2 have that typical british look, that is enough to know that they are not from france, since this look does not even exist here.
And your right, the clothes weared in britain are also usually very different to those in france.
To me all these poeople have quintessentially british looks. Please don't tell us again that your kids are "black" (or half "black" maybe) or that neighbours are pakistanese looking british people; we already know prefectly that britain has, like most other western european countries lot of people with origins from non-european immigration.
I'd say up to 65% of white americans have their main ancestry from either the UK or Ireland, which from the start makes themselves quite different from continental europeans.
The largest single ethnic group in the US is German, at 15.68% of the population.
Irish are 2nd, at 11.37%. English is 3rd, at 8.52%.
You may be overlooking body language, which I think is quite different in Americans -- a greater difference than physiognomy. For example, when I'm people-watching, I pay a let of attention to the way they walk. Also, Americans dress different from Europeans, in the sense that for a certain occasion, Americans would have a different sense of appropriate dress, and choose different ways of dressing. Fashionable hair-styles, too. Such things are more subtle than just facial or body-build difference, but you eye is capable of detecting a distinction and collecting them into generalizations..
Self reported for the god's sake, self reported studies are usually biases, ,most white americans who claim german and Irish have largely old british stock, I've seen genetic plots of random white americans, and more cluster closer to the UK plot rather than anywhere else. People always prefer to claim the most exotic, or many just have a few relatively recent ancestors from a country but forget their large british blood in their family tree.
If you take a random crowd of white americans be sure than more often than not they will pass easier for brits or even Irish than for continentals or scandinavians.
FWIW I've been to England a few times and there are plenty of attractive women there, no doubt about that
Of course, I just doubt that you'll see woman after woman that looks like in that small picture.
