What are some comics strips in papers and magazines around the world, that are unknown in the USA?

One that comes to mind is Condorito, a Chilean strip that is wildly popular in all Spanish speaking countries.

Does every English speaking country in the world have at least on newspaper called The Daily Mail? I've quickly found them in Ghana, Zambia, Johannesburg, Sierra Leone, Northern Ireland, Pakistan, West Virginia

Do they still have BEANO and DANDY comics in the UK?
The ones they sell at those newsstands you see in the movies?

Asterix and Tintin (Belgian) are two French language comics that have enjoyed over a half a century of popularity in Europe. Tintin has been translated into English, but has never become popular in America because of American outrage over sensitive themes.

Japanese Manga comics are extremely popular among people of all ages, but are not widely distributed in America or even Europe, because some go far beyond the accepted limits of violence and sexuality.

I grew up with Asterix, Lucky Luke, "Lustiges Taschenbuch" (Donald Duck pocket books - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , obviously only published in Europe?), Yps and "Fix und Foxie".

Oh, and of course Tintin, which we call "Tim und Struppi"

Huh? Tintin is massive in the US, tons of us grew up on those stories. Spielberg and Peter Jackson made a highly acclaimed and very profitable movie based on them a couple of years ago.
