What I realize now, being away from my home 90% of my time, is that the time with my loved ones is precious. I need to be able to learn those moments I so often ignore.

This is not a surprising post, being from a Russian. From the Kazakh viewpoint, it is quite different. I understand that the Kazakhs hate the Russians, who remained there with their entrenched economic power after the Soviets left.
Four million ethnic Russians comprise a quarter of the population and much more of the economic power, keeping Russian as the de facto national language and default culture. Any Russian, like the OP, would feel right at home in Kazakhstan, and be able to afford the good life there.
I've never been there, this is based on conversations I've had with Kazakhs.
