Tell me about it. It's even worse in Canada.

One time I was in Saskatchewan, and I watched my dog run away for three days.

Most people here don't live in 100 year old homes. Local style seems to be build houses in a similar style to back then, just more modern materials and bigger. Some form of neo colonial or cape.

Hmmm. I thought Mass would have lots of'em.

I'm okay with that. I hate open floor plans.

Oh yes I caught another point in EU's favour: manual transmission.
You Americans have that horrible automatic one, brr.
What's the pleasure in driving?
On the other hand, in US fuel costs much more less.
Just consider there here where I live it cost 1,75 € /lt.

What does this have to do with the post you quoted?

Or are you just desperate for a chance for you to disrespect Americans?

I think you read it wrong. That was all sarcasm.

Automatics are common in most facets of the industrialized world, yet manuals exist everywhere.

If you own a sports car or muscle car, it's more likely to be manual. If you own a family car, truck, or something similar it's likely to be automatic. Why does this matter anyways? I pay $3.15 for a gallon of gas here, I drive 13 miles to work everyday in my V8 car.

Yeah, those who want to own a manual car in America, will own a manual car lol. You have the freedom to choose and the low cost of automobiles, fuel, license/registration fees make it that much more attainable for the average person to choose for themselves.
