Well for my tastes it is MY favourite city in North America.

I am not saying that Madrid is not World Class but I don't think it's Top 10.

Top 10 for me (in no order at all):

New York
Chicago
Los Angeles
Toronto
Paris
London
Tokyo
Shanghai
Hong Kong
Sydney

I find those cities to be a lot more world class than Madrid. And even then I think cities like: Rome, Barcelona, San Francisco are on par with Madrid or even more world class.

But in the end it's really just subjective.

Only for Europe:

London
Paris
Moscow
Berlin
Madrid
Istanbul
St. Petersburg
Milan
Barcelona
Rome
(Athens)

Lol at some suggestions, like Zurich, Dubai, Tel Aviv or Cape Town. Those cities have no 'world influence' whatsoever. Absolutely none. Zurich is a tiny village with 300k inhabitants. 'Global City', right...

^^ people only suggest Zurich because it's a glorified bank for the very wealthy.
