Distrito del Sur (Southern Distric) = present day Ecuador.
Distrito de (District of) Cundinamarca o (or) Nueva Granada = present day Panamá, Colombia.

Ok cool thanks for that. These world forums are the part of C-D where I actually learn new things. I take it this was just after independence? I know the bigger one was a Belgian colony. I don't know much about the smaller one.
