Let's see at 20, I've been to 12 countries in Central America and the Caribbean, plus Mexico and Canada. Once I graduate college, I hope to travel Europe and visit Vancouver. As far as US states, I've been to 11: most of the south, plus Alaska, California, and New York. My dad is huge on taking cruises over land vacations so we see a lot less of the country than if we drove ourselves around. I still love cruises, but for Europe and Vancouver, I want to be able to enjoy the city for more than a few hours lol. 6 countries at 23 is not pathetic; most people in the US haven't even left the country. A lotta my friends don't even have passports.
At age of 23; how many countries have you been to?
I only been to 6 countries so far and feel depressed!! I wish my family traveled much more when I was younger
I'm 25 (almost 26) and I've been to 10 Countries. A few of those countries I've visited many different times and to different cities. I would like to travel but circumstances don't allow that anymore
Why is it pathetic?
What about those can´t afford to travel?
Are they pathetic?
People think all Europeans are the same. they think its all the same, one big country.
If you live in Austria it might be easier to travel because everything is so close. But if you are born like me, or you, in Sweden you are a little bit more isolated. And as expensive as gas prices are you just don't go out on road trips and drive all over Europe.
When I lived in southern Germany back in 1999 we traveled a lot, drove all over Europe. I am not sure I would have done that had I stayed in Sweden.
All together I think I have been to around 12 countries...and 47 US states.
By the age of 23 I had been to approximately 80 foreign countries. I worked from the age 21 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for a multinational bank. In fact I spent my 23rd birthday in Monte Carlo.
Had a lot of fun, and have continued to travel over the years, now a young 65.
I've only been to 2 countries, Germany and UK, specifically a small section of England. (don't count Canada as it was just a day trip over the border and back). I'm not very well traveled, so I guess I'm extremely pathetic like Magnatomicflux . I want to visit Scotland next, especially the area around Inverness, the Highlands, and Edinburgh. Glasgow I'm not too sure about, don't know what's going on there

Only been to 48 states.
My goal: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands.
Of domestic travel I've done: New York, Delaware, Maryland, D.C., New Jersey, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, and Missouri. USVI is probably last on my list, probably because I'm from Puerto Rico originally so I don't see the appeal of visiting
