Bugs me a bit when people (esp foreigners) use Yankee incorrectly. Most ironic for English since it's original meaning refer to people of English descent.
As an aside here's some quotes I found from an ethnic-baiting former Boston mayor. There's a statue of him right in the center of Boston.

Yeah I could say the same about you guys to America. Also this is city data not America...
