1. I have plenty of happy places for my life all over the world. My top 20 right now for cities: Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, Buenos Aires, Vienna, Innsbruck, Prague, Lyon, Nice, Grenoble, Singapore, Phuket, Bangkok, Ibiza, San Francisco, Seattle, New York City, Stockholm, Vancouver.

If I had to select just 1 city right now, it would be Paris or Hong Kong.

2. Top 10 favorite nature scenery places right now: French Alps, French Mediterranean, Austrian Alps, Chinese Himalayas, Indian Himalayas, Suao Hualien coastline Taiwan, Coastal California Big Sur, French tropical overseas islands, Patagonia, Thai beaches.

If I select just 1 place right now for nature scenery, it would be French tropical overseas islands, or Thai beaches.

3. Favorite Season: Well, even if its October, and my favorite annual weather is 4 seasons Continental Mediterranean weather, I select hot, sunny, low humidity, windy weather right now highs 90s/lows 60s and some time at the beach soon, sun tan, jet skiing, or taking a boat out in ocean water. I am not in the mood for Autumn yet and prefer more summer, or at least brief summer before going back to a long Autumn.

Dinner at my older sister's home in Cleveland with the entire family there. We're eating takeout from Maggianos or Corky and Lenny's, then watching Joan Rivers on TV and laughing our heads off. Winter has a kind of magic to it, so let's go with that.

Drinking chocolate martinis or half off wine at the outdoor patio at Matisse in Chicago. Easily my comfort place in the city, especially during the summer.

Grabbing a bunch of graphic novels at a Borders (RIP) or Barnes & Noble and a bagel and coffee from the cafe, then reading for several hours uninterrupted. Season and city are irrelevant.

The place I grew up ,big Bear Lake California 7,000' elevation
All year round , in the lake on the lake on the hill side in the woods and desert ,in the snow during the day or nite.
I fantasize about Alaska but cannot afford it.
I love the wild life and the cold ,spent several years working in the dark, making snow for the skii slopes , no big deal.
