To me Canadians seem to care more about the whole USA vs Canada, I haven't found not one patriotic video of America saying how its better than Canada on youtube, yet I find 20 Canadian videos about how its better than America for a country that has the same population as one of America's states.

Because you are their only neighbour, but Canada is a bit irrelevant compared to the USA. Write "USA vs Europe", "USA vs China" or "USA vs Russia" and have a good laugh.

Never went to Brazil, but it always amazed me how Brazilians are always travelling with their flag. You can spot Brazilians a mile away, his pant, his bag, his shirt or his rental car or camper-van is very likely to have a flag printed or fixed on it.

Should've been a multiple choice poll.

USA, Russia, Italy, France and Brazil are very patriotic.

Palestine. Being occupied by a foreign power tends to raise ones level of patriotic consciousness.

From the list, I chose South Korea, although they are more patriotic about Korea as a whole than the Republic of Korea, which they see as a temporary entity. .

A few other countries I'd put very high on the list are Turkey, Singapore, Colombia, Ireland, Hungary.

Italy? we can approach the concept of "patriotic" just when our national football team is going to win the world cup.
I've never had the impression that we were more patriotic than people from other countries...

Huge military. Lots of mercenaries too. Check.
Ongoing conflicts. Russia, Denmark, Catholics. Check.
Isolationism. No. Expansionism. Check.
Supremacy. Check.
Authoritarian government. Absolute monarchy. Check.

Fits well for Sweden until 1809.
