I vote for Lake Atitlan, Guatemala (literally breathtaking!), and Maligne Lake, Alberta, Canada.

And what about Crater Lake, Oregon? Good to see Tahoe made it on the list.

Lake Superior is amazing. For a brief time I lived five minutes from the coast. I had many good times on the black rocks and little cliffs.
