So.....what is THE WORST hell on the face of the Earth?????
Tijuana, Baja California Mexico is up there apparently but it is still a city that can recover...Rumor has it that there is a city named Manshiyat Naser in Cairo Egypt that is basically a giant trash dump...the citizens live in the trash and process it for the Egyptian government...UUGGHH If you are a germaphobe or a sanitary fanatic this place would drive you utterly insane...Also, there was the Walled City Kowloon that was destroyed because of its Hellish properties. The Yakuza underground governed most of its economics and you couldn't enter or leave the city without permission; it had numerous humanitarian health code violations...open and exposed wiring all through the city's labyrinth (at times right next to exposed and running water), dentists who would perform root canals and extraction who never graduated high school, and surgeons who lacked medical degrees. This city was a featurette in Christopher Nolan's and Christian Bale's "The Dark Knight" as "The Narrows;" A really creepy city that the Chinese government put a clamp on for its inhabitable properties...look it up it is a real study

I've lived in Tijuana, it is very far from being the worst city in the world.

That is why I wrote that it is a city that can "recover." I lived in Sonora and in other west coast "corrida" cities and I am speaking from "old people" speak...they said that Tijuana was basically a "death camp" during the eighties and early nineties...I know nothing of Tijuana "666" first hand; I wouldn't go there if you paid me a large sum of money upfront...

I don't really care what people think of the city. I lived very comfortable there, in a very nice home, had the time of my life in my youth, hanging out at bars and pubs that played British rock and Latin American rock. I went to art shows, explored all types of foods (amazing sushi, Italian food, and of course Mexican). Usually the people who have a negative view of the city go to visit prostitutes, buy drugs or to live in shady areas, I'm not familiar with all of that.
I still visit and stay weekends in beach front condos to relax.

Mogadishu is worse than all on the list. Port au Prince Haiti is my vote after dishu.
