Which countries would they be most comparable to in Economy, Per Capita, HDI, Geni Inequality.

By Mexico City, I mean areas like the Santa Fe, Interlomas, Reforma, Polanco, Condesa...the nicer areas

By Monterrey I am more specifically referring to the municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia and the west valley area.

and by Guadalajara I mean the Zapopan and the area around it.

I remember reading somewhere that San Pedro Garza Garcia would be very similar to Germany or New Zealand if it were it's own separate country, while some parts of Mexico City and Guadalajara would be similar to other parts of Western Europe and Australia.

They would be like Singapore next to Malaysia, for exactly the same reason.

Except they wold be surrounded by a relatively poor Mexkco, which could hold them hostage to energy, water, agricultural products, resources, and transport access. Remember what Berlin was like, when it was surrounded by a hostile East Germany. It never works to be a sovereign country completely surrounded by another one, unless you essentially surrender your sovereignty to your geographical captor.
