Don't agree with that at all.nobody around the world knows about the origin of Levi's,all they know is that,it is an american product, with an american patent, sold by american companies so i don't see the point here.
I can cite many counter-examples where the products are not originally european but are produced and sold under a european flagship.
I agree. Making products to suit the local market doesn't make it less American, it makes it smart business. Perhaps that mentality is why American business dominates?

In the cities in the Philippines you can find ANY American chain restaurant imaginable. Most people speak English. American movies and TV shows are never dubbed, they're always in English. The people dont keep up with every American sport, but they definitely keep up with NBA and they have their favorite teams. On the radio, you hear the exact same songs that are playing on American radio. You also see Evangelical Christian slogans everywhere, on signs, billboards, bumper stickers, T-Shirts, etc.
Here's an example. "Jesus alone saves" You see more of this in the Philippines than in a Bible Belt American city
Also notice the sign for "California Pizza Kitchen" Like i said, any American chain restaurant you can think of http://automotivepartsuppliers.com/w...a-Traffic1.jpg

Glad we agree, now this means that either a. American businesses are better at business or b. other countries seem to prefer American businesses. While there has been globalization, it would be foolish to believe that the lions share in the most foreign markets is not American.
As a musician, please explain that last part to me. Not yet saying you're wrong, just want to see if there is something I may have overlooked.
