Of these cities, I've only been to Boston.

I would like to visit Vienna because it's in Europe and where Mozart did his stuff. That is my kind of city.

Vienna seems like the nicest city of those listed, and the most I'd want to visit.

(Already visited Boston and Vancouver)

Four nice cities to pick from. I am going to go for Vienna for its history, museums and culture.

Boston is a great city for history by American standards but she cannot compete with Vienna and Brussels. I also like Boston because it seems somehow familiar to a New Yorker but far less crowded and hectic.

Vancouver is a good pick for nature lovers.

I live in Vancouver, and while it's nice, I vacationed in Vienna before I'd ever been here and I really do think it's the better vacation spot, but I love history and Vienna has lots of it

The only city I haven't been to on the list is Boston. Although I hear nice things about Boston for tourists, for my type of holiday it's missing the nature part, that Vancouver can offer. That said, it's on my list of places to go.

Vienna, although beautiful, I found terribly boring. The Vienna woods around the city were OK. The people sort of stand offish compared to my experience in Innsbruck, and not just because it was a larger city than Innsbruck. Not to slag Vienna too much as I enjoyed Austria, but just never had the feeling it's a place I'd rush back to, like the south of France, which I can never get enough of.

Brussels, again…kind of boring.

Vienna b/c I want to visit a city in Europe (therefore one with older architecture and history) and I'd prefer Vienna over Brussels.

I have visited all four cities listed in this thread and would rate them as follows:

1) Brussels
2) Vancouver
3) Vienna
4) Boston

My friends and I spend 4 days in Brussels last fall and really loved the city. After some thought I realized that it had to be number 1 on my list.

The next 3 are closer. Vancouver takes #2 because of the whale watching, ziplining and seafood. Vienna is #3 because of the history and classical music. However, Boston is very close to both Vancouver and Vienna.

Boston I can't say because I live here :-p

So I'd say:

1. Vienna
2. Vancouver
3. Brussels
