Maybe London isn't a museum, but it isn't trying to be. London is a dynamic, ever-changing city with a large variety of architectural styles from many periods of history. If you visit London expecting some sort of quaint romantic city, you're an idiot.

Quite amusing, given that London is home to over 40,000 listed buildings, over 150 ancient monuments and 4 UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Similarly the Monuments Historiques in France protects 40,000 building in Paris.

I mean it's one thing to prefer the beauty of other cities over London but to claim it's "so behind" and to nominate it as a city that short-changed you is ridiculous.

I heard Bratislavia was one of Europe's hidden gems? Never been though.

Brussels was pretty boring.

Not my concern as to what you think, I am merely stating the facts.

People are nuts if they pick London. The place is amazing. Instead of visiting Big Ben go and explore a bit better! Picking London, one of the greatest places I have ever experienced, bewilders me.
