Hi,

I'm a Canadian looking to relocate from NS. I have a bachelors in environmental engineering technology and I don't have much work experience, except for in the postal and modeling industry. I have applied to jobs all over the country and am expecting to relocate sometime in 2014.

If possible, I want to live near a body of water, as I don't cope well with dry hot summers. I have difficulties tolerating anything at or above 27-30 Celsius, but can cope if there is a good breeze. I am also looking to move to a place that has a high working population between the ages of 21-35.
So far I have considered moving to Ottawa, BC, Edmonton ,Calgary, Saskatoon and the territories ( temporarily) .
I have also wanted to move Montana or Washington state, but i know little about living in either.

I am doing my own research, but would like to hear your personal experiences. If you have lived in any of those areas, could you please list the pros and cons of living there. I have also read and heard that the price of living in an apartment in BC is high. Can anyone speak from experience about this? If you have any other pieces of information about the previously mentioned areas, please let me know.

Also, if you know of any international places that have mild weather with a demand for environmental work, I would like to hear of them!

Oh, what is it like to work in Africa? There are a few companies here that'll send their workers over there to do rig work. I've always thought Africa had extreme temperatures, but a lot of my friends from Africa say it's too hot in NS.

Thanks in advance!
