Which countries in the world feel like the majority of citizens or residents are recent immigrants or transplants and that the population seems very "new"?

I guess this can be partly approximated by looking at countries in the world with the most foreign born, but I'm thinking about the entire population overall -- countries in the world where almost everybody's ancestry is very recent in number of generations.

For example, Israel, Switzerland and the UAE have many foreign-born people and rank really high as %, even more than New World countries like the USA, Canada, or Australia, but they also include more Old World people whose ancestors have been in that land a long time.

I'm guessing I'm sort of asking, in which countries in the world, is the average citizen's ancestors likely to have been in that land the shortest amount of time/generations if that makes any sense. I suppose, taking it to the extreme, if there was an island country entirely populated by first or second generation immigrants and no settlers before that, that would top the list.

The USA has many people that are 1st/2nd/3rd generations in the country. I don't know of any island countries in that situation.

I think a lot of countries including the UK have 1st/2nd/3rd Generation immigrants. This is not unique to the US.

UAE, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Canada would probably be the top 5 in terms of overseas born, or having overseas born parents. Australia is about 30% foreign born. The US is 13% compared, which shows that more of America's immigrant population is more established.

The highest would possibly some tiny tax haven for the rich like Monaco, Bermuda or the Cayman Islands.

I think it would be a fair assumption that every person living in Vatican City is foreign born

Qatar's population had increased from 111 thousand to 1.9 million in 43 years if wiki is to be believed. About 80 percent of the countries population are recent migrants.

The bad news is that there is also 3 men for every women in the country.
