I thought Australia has a lot of New Zealand immigrants?
So wouldn't it make sense to connect the two?

Ha ha we'll there are lots of New Zealanders in oz . However I don't think many people could handle the 2 day drive accross the bridge.

OP, the distance between Sydney and Auckland is 2,161 kilometers, about 1,343 miles. Easily two days drive. Surely you are not serious. If you are, you need to read up on map scales and projections.

Not that close really London is closer to Kiev than any major Australian city is to Auckland.
