I'm telling you man, they live in their own country and like their own countries. They don't have to look up to other countries because they have their own.

Brasil is a great country, but majority of Latinos wouldn't be able to tell you too much about Brasil other than Carnaval and Rio. I was texting a girl I know who was visiting Rio and she didn't even know what Feijoada was and she was there for a week already.

Spaniards are noticeably more extroverted and touchy and relaxed when they are out and about, in general.
Do you think a Mexican or a Argentine tourist in France would be mistaken for a Spaniard?

Me personally, i never knew Enrique Iglesias is from Spain... i always assumed he was from some random South American country.

Maybe. There seem to be many people in Spain who are connected to Latin America, and many people you see around have significantly darker skin than others. It's hard to say whether it has to do with their ethnicity or if they are just particularly tanned.

Also, I think 10% of Mexicans are white, and most Argentinians are white anyways.

Could happen. In India, most of the people will call anyone who is white an American.

OP, most Latin Americans don't really think about their neighbors much. I'm from Puerto Rico, and I don't give the Dominican Republic a moment's thought, and neither does anyone else. We like to think that the only thing we share in common with them is Spanish, but even then we speak it differently. Individual national identity in Latin America is much stronger than outsiders think it is

I think many outsiders see Latin American countries as all being pretty much the same. Heck some Americans confuse Spain and Mexico sometimes lol.

No they don't. What are you even talking about?

Maybe you're confusing that with Australians.
