BArgirls are an exception. Let's just talk about women in general.
Even career women are not as dolled up as East Asians. They wear a little makeup yes as it required in their offices etc. but still, not as much as East Asians. East Asians put so much black eye shadow or eye liners and lash extensions.
I am not a typical Filipina in terms of makeup and dressing up. I love makeup and looking polished so I am very observant on women who are also more polished that is why I think East Asians wear more makeup than filipinos.
Hmmm, your sample of Chinese women is probably limited too. If you're a tourist who goes to Bangkok and goes to redlight districts like Patpong, Soi Cowboy, Nana, Pattaya, Patong.etc you'll think every Thai women is like this. Probably the same if one goes to Angeles City or something. You said you spent time in Shenzhen did you? That city is known for it's prostitution.

Well I didn't know about prostitution in Shenzhen. I don't know if the ones I saw were prostitutes as they were just in the malls at day time.
Saw many who wear makeup in HK and Macau as well.

Yes nowadays Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Seoul.etc is more akin to western countries in terms of makeup.
It varies on region, when I went to Chicago I noticed a lot of people with makeup, same with Los Angeles, yet in San Francisco, women do a very natural look that involves less make up.

I noticed in NYC actually a lot of women had a more natural look as well.
I don't see too much make up here (I'm comparing to the UK where I used to live where women tended to overuse make up though maybe that was just my chavvy town) but I do a lot of women wearing summer dresses, skirts, quite feminine clothing but jeans and a top are very common too.
Depends entirely on how hip your area is. The hipper, the more blurred. Same with neighbourhoods where LBBT communities congregate. I would say the other exception is the less well-to-do folks who are just kind of wearing whatever interchangeably. Any relatively liberal area will most likely have around equal parts of people who are consciously not wearing traditional feminine or masculine clothing as another part of the world.
Those who are wealthy, yuppie, traditional, middle class, or really like going to bars tend to separate a lot more. That's probably standard of basically all countries, though.
I think its all in how youre raised too. You can live in a country or city that dresses quite "openly" but that doesnt mean you have to.
