New Zealand - Japan

Big mountains, earthquake prone with inspiring views.

New Zealand - United Kingdom

English speaking island nations with a Mild (lacking in extremes) temperate climate. Some mountains in the Uk would resemble the Southern Alps in NZ.

South Africa - Australia

Similar natural environments, English speaking and in the southern Hemisphere.

Scandinavia - Canada

Large expanse of Boreal forests, lakes and noted for being a liberal society.

Virginia / Massachusetts / Rhode Island / other New England states - Britain & Ireland

Similar forest type, historical links and the culture is interlinked with British / Irish cultures.

Brazil - Angola

Portuguese and African derived culture. Interchange of music and culture..
