Because most people barely mention Sub-Saharan Africa, but we get all kinds stuff on Asia and Europe. I'm really getting tired of hearing about Europe. The fact that Africa made it through Slavery, Islamic Crusades, Brutal Colonialist, genocide and still some how didn't lose all of its culture/population like the Native Americans. Makes them very interesting, plus the fact they rapidly rising economies.
I agree. I am far more interested in Africa than Asia. I'm just as much interested in Africa as I am in Europe.
European food is defiantly better than Asian food. Rum, vodka, and cheese burger and French fries are better than stuff like Chineese rice and sushi(really raw fish).
Most people are familiar with Europe so its easier to understand. Our history book is dedicated to class after class on European history. And To be honest, its all full of war & the same group of people conquering and reconquering each other. The culture to me seems bit diluted (very similar thruout Europe) than Asia.

Chinese mostly just eat "Chinese rice" and the Japanese eat sushi most of the time.
RIGHT.
Cheese burger... can't think of anything that is more boring than that. Hotdogs maybe.
The name 'french fries' comes from the verb 'to french' and has nothing to do with France.
So the whole 'freedom fries' phenomenon, that arose when many people in the US were angry at France for reasons I don't remember right now, was based on nonsense. lol
Asia pretty much invented civilization, due to its geography differences is much more culturally varied and all major religions originated there.
Europe is vastly interesting, but Asia offers more.
