I agree. I am far more interested in Africa than Asia. I'm just as much interested in Africa as I am in Europe.

Most people are familiar with Europe so its easier to understand. Our history book is dedicated to class after class on European history. And To be honest, its all full of war & the same group of people conquering and reconquering each other. The culture to me seems bit diluted (very similar thruout Europe) than Asia.

The name 'french fries' comes from the verb 'to french' and has nothing to do with France.

Chinese mostly just eat "Chinese rice" and the Japanese eat sushi most of the time.

RIGHT.

Cheese burger... can't think of anything that is more boring than that. Hotdogs maybe.

So the whole 'freedom fries' phenomenon, that arose when many people in the US were angry at France for reasons I don't remember right now, was based on nonsense. lol

Asia pretty much invented civilization, due to its geography differences is much more culturally varied and all major religions originated there.
Europe is vastly interesting, but Asia offers more.
