Perhaps - although the Indians have a long way to go to become the largest economy in the world. China is still going to be up there and has just relaxed it's child birth laws, along with the US and maybe Brazil will also be up there as well, whilst some African countries may have become more industrialised by then and have major economies. Nations that are on the wane due to declining and ageing populations are Russia, Japan and to a lesser extent Germany.

I don't see that happening. India and the Indian people are a mess.

They simply have a large population, which isn't necessarily a good thing.

And I wonder will the wealth be distributed equally?

Looking on the TV India looks like a big massive mess definitely miles away from being a first world country.

India also has a fairly high per capita growth rate. India is a mess though.

Yes, but this is a four decade long projection. South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore were able to do something similar in about that same length of time--though of course this will have to work somewhat differently when scaled to the size of India.

Those countries are not as wealthy and equal as here sorry.

Idk. These countries will never be able to adopt the society that we achieved because they don't have western morals and never will.

India is one of the most corrupt places in the world. Their government officials are not going to change overnight. The backwards thinking of the Indian people will keep them behind the world. While India is busy arguing between which caste is the greatest or Marathis complaining about Bihari people, the rest of the world is rolling their eyes.

India has a very long way to go. I'd pick certain Latin American countries over India.

You mean the western morals that brought us two world ward, Hitler and Stalin, and held the entire known world in the fist of colonialism? You're right, those are the kinds of moral that are needed in order to gain a hammerlock on the planet's human and natural resources and grab all the land on two entire continents, massacring the original inhabitants, with western "equality" for all within their domain, without any sense of guilt.

Why don't you just say what you mean? The silly savages are hopelessly ignorant and inferior to us and have no chance.
