In terms of being critical of the American government, culture, the society/people in general:
I would say:
Canada
UK
France
New Zealand
Germany (to a smaller extent)
Not too sure about other European countries.
Of the one's you mention, I agree with France and that's it. Canada is more of a rivalry, but not quite anti-American in the true sense of the word, even though many are irritated that they are often confused for US Americans or that many US Americans don't see Canada as a 'real' country.
Other Western countries that currently have an obvious critical stance towards the USA are:
Venezuela
Argentina
Brazil (it fluctuates)
Ecuador (more the government than the people)
Cuba (this is waning as of late)
I like our money. I can still pick out a 5, 10, 20, 50, and a 100, even when I'm completetly shmammered. lol
Who knows what I'd be giving people if I were dealing with greenbacks.
I like our money too, and I agree that it is easy to pick out when one is less than sober. The current plastic notes are rather cool (though they do tend to stick together), but I miss the hockey-playing kids on the $5 bill.
Still, I'm puzzled as to why Americans are reluctant to use Canadian money in Canada, and why they disparage it so. As a former retail clerk who dealt with a lot of Americans who wanted to use US currency, I heard all the insults to Canada, to Canadians, and to Canadian currency, from American customers who offered US currency. Seriously, why?

It's those damned Canadian dimes I tell ya. they get mixed up in our change and a cashier will unknowingly hand you one when they give change. You don't discover it until you're at a vending machine and the machine keeps spitting it back out. Only then do you investigate this dreadful dime and discover that it is indeed, a Canadian dime.

When I lived in an apartment, the laundry machine wouldn't take those over weight American quarters.
Speaking of money, I don't know how you guys do it, constantly struggling to get a crumpled up dollar bill in the vending machine. That crap drives me bonkers when I'm over there. lol

LOL @ overweight. Your quarters feel like toy money Trust me, that drives me crazy too. I wish we used at least 1 and 5 dollars in coins more often.

It's slowly happening. the difference isn't as big as with Canadian money but perhaps enough once familiar with it that you'll know what you have.
