All right, I get your point of getting away from the oil rich Vikings. Northern Europeans are very reserved and over organized. You need some creative chaos and emotional engagement, without losing focus of a career later on.
Berkeley has a top notch undergraduate business program. You'll have the ocean and the mountains close by. Doesn't get too hot or cold. A great city and superb flight connections to Asia and the USA (or back home). And culturally it is as different and diverse from Norway as it could be, without alienating you. You are very close to Silicone Valley and that's where the jobs sit these days.
heh, if you lived here, you would take the first flight back to America. We are SO reserved.. But its still a great country though.. I just lacks everything America has...
Berkeley would be in NY btw. Not Cali.. If it was in Cali there would be no doubt where I would go. But NY is so expensive ha! Thanks for the replies btw!
I would narrow my choices to a year in Santa Barbara, CA. transferring to Hawaii or a year in Australia. I wouldn't consider the Berkeley College option as it doesn't seem to be a first class institution and it might be located in NYC suburbs rather than in NYC itself (where the action is for a young person).
Choose Australia, The Gold Coast is great. You will really love the place. If you are here for awhile, it will give you opportunities to see quite a lot of the country.

Yeah it really sounds like a great place. I could also go to University of Sunshine Coast, which I think is better, considering there are many Intl students there. Do you know if Intl student's can work down there? Cause that would make things easier for me And is the cost of living really high down there? It didn't seem to be much higher than Hawaii tbh.

Yeah, Berkeley is also very expensive lol. The other schools also seem to have good education. And Australia and Hawaii seem to have a lots of school activities too, so yeah thx for reply!

Well yes international students can work in Australia, yet they can only legally work part time hours. I think they can't work longer than 20 hours a week.
Well I am sure the University of Sunshine coast and Southern Cross University has a site which states how much it cost to live there, and everyday expenses.
Well there are so many international students at the universities out here yet they survive and usually a way to do that is to work as well.
