Reading this //www.city-data.com/forum/world...oting-why.html just gave me the idea for this thread.

After reading it I looked up how safe Singapore is from crime compared to the USA List of countries by intentional homicide rate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Wow what a difference! A murder rate of 0.3 compared to the 4.8 rate of the USA. And it made me see there are alot of countries out there that soooo much more dangerous than the USA.

So here it is.....the world's most dangerous (and safest) countries.

So basically ANY South American country and much of Africa is unsafe.

I had read somewhere (so I don't remember the source, read before attacking me) that the murder or rape rate in Italy is something like 5 times inferior to American ones.

Yeah that is true, however Italy is in Europe and Europe as a whole is many many times safer than America.

Yea not really that big of a difference, pretty much all developed nations are very safe.

Those South American countries can get pretty dangerous.

I always wondered during my time in Hong Kong how dangerous it really is Personally, I felt as safe as anywhere in Austria, but that was probably due to the fact that I had no clue of what was going on around me.

Lithuania and Estonia more dangerous than Mozambique, Niger, Somalia, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan

Hong Kong probably top 5 mafia city in the world, up there with Chicago, NYC, Moscow and Tokyo.
