Yeah exactly. Some non-native English speakers are sort of jealous of native English speakers, I think. Or resentful English is so dominant. Well it's not like it's our fault, is it?
You really think that's the case?

I hear people call Americans, Canadians, Australians and British "uncultured" because they aren't that bilingual.
Americans, Canadians and Australians i can understand but British uncultured? really?
I think its pretty obvious and Its also obvious that some are insecure.
Me and my mum were talking the other day and we both agreed that we don't understand why foreigners come to our lands and we wondered why they didn't goto the countries in their own culture e.g Spain to Brazil.
We ourselves have the attitude that you should go where your own language is spoken which is what we do..

False. Nobody is jealous.

I'm not sure....I've never heard of people jealous of "native" English speakers,I mean what's to jealous about? It's their mother tongue.
People are more jealous of locals that speak great English. It's still an English dominant world,so better English=better opportunities in many cases.

Like I said, we didn't have to make any effort to learn English, which alone opens so many doors.
