Washington DC seems so boring to me, the national mall is creepy with all those statues and people going from statue to statue like doing a pilgrimage... the people are annoying constantly saying OMG OMG OMG, and the american tourists are creepy too (americans all orgasmic because they're seeing all these national monuments)

San Francisco is too cool for school and they always want to tell u how cool it is because is san francisco (to me it was very MEH)

the other cities are ok

Detroit is more surprising at what it has to offer, than disappointing.

I agree Detroit is horribly and unfairly underrated, it has a LOT to offer

Los Angeles obviously
First impression where you get there : where's the city ?
Not much to see, only a few spots here and there (hollywood, santa monica, venice beach, beverly hills)
Cool vibe but at the end of the day visiting L.A is like visiting a collection of very small villages surrounded by suburban wasteland. The city is huge but it has less to offer to the tourist than one single arrondissement of Paris

I'm not a fan of LA...too spread out, but there is tons to do, it's just takes time to get there.

From an international tourist perspective there isn't much to do
Like even compared to a second tier European city like Barcelona, the difference is huge

Within 2 days you've seen all the interesting stuff, 1 day might be enough if you're in a hurry
Now if you're interesting in knowing L.A and what the "city" is really about it would take you much more I agree, but that's true for any city on Earth

Well since I'm from Canada, I am an international tourist to LA.

I know Barcelona, and enjoyed it, but there is still more to do in L.A.

Curious as to what you did in L.A. that made you run out of things to do after 2 days. However like I said, I'm not a huge fan of L.A. and prefer more concentrated cities.
