It would be very interesting to compare internet (download) speeds from around the world. I have read many articles saying that the speeds in some parts of Europe and Asia are very high. US average download speeds tend to be on the slower side .... but really depends on your city/State.

For consistency use the following site and hit begin test:

The upload speed sucks. Unfortunately, fiber internet is not avaliabe where I live.

Can't get fibre round here, but this is quick enough to stream HD so I'm happy enough.

Yes. The infrastructure is quite good here. Still, it is far better in Sweden.
