Difficult choice, my favourites are: Belvedere in Vienna, Oriente in Madrid, Royal Palace in Bangkok and Newschwanstein. Alhambra and Buckingham overrated.

Same here, too bad it isn't on the list, the Catherine Palace is amazing.

As for the poll options, perhaps Versailles.

I agree Catbelle, Buckingham Palace is very bland in comparison to some other palaces and castles in the UK and beyond.

Schloss Neuschwanstein might be kitch but I still like it. The view from Marienbrücke is spectacular.

The Château de Chenonceau is one of my favorites. I also like Mont St. Michael.

Buckingham Palace is nothing special. Even the Royal Castle in Oslo is prettier.

I visited the Schloss Neuschwanstein in March. This is the most awesome place I ever visited.
However, the poll don't mention the castles of Valée du Loire, like Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord. They are great as well.

Between
El Escorial, Spain

or Parliament House, Romania

As far as palaces go, I prefer a national product, Pena Palace in Sintra

Here's an old ruin from southern Finland. Construction started in 1360. Last time i visited a guy sang a sonata to his future wife inside the ruin.

It was also featured in two music videos.

This is Budapest, Hungary, not Bucarest, Romania.
The two names sounds so similar that they are easily confused
