We had a great 4th of July! We got together with some friends and family and of course grilled out. We did it about as traditionally as it can be done - hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, some other side dishes, strawberry/blueberry shortcake for dessert (red, white and blue!), and cold beer - out on the patio while the kids ran around playing in the sprinkler and the kiddie pool. When it got dark, we broke out the sparklers and my son in law actually found these "old school" carbon snake thingies - wow, I hadn't seen those in YEARS, maybe even DECADES.
OLD SCHOOL! LOL
But no ribs? No worries, I had enough ribs for the both of us haha.
One of those chill at home and watch TV holidays for me
But the Cats are having a tough time since the neighborhood has been shooting off fireworks all week.
Pretty much what I did. Still have lots of spare ribs left over too
