Some researchers at the Australian National University have released an interactive map detailing one of the expeditions of Ludwig Leichhart, one of Australia’s most prominent explorers of the 1800s.
It made me wonder. Is the pioneer spirit still alive in Australia, Canada, the US and other settler nations? Or have we all morphed into something less hardy and less adaptable?
