I'd love seeing different infrastructure projects in different cities around the world. Be it in transportation, commercial, renewable energy plants, theme parks, or another tourist spot.
I hope moderator will allow us to post pictures of renders or AVP's of the projects.
I'll post mine later, I'll try to dig up some information
Or if there's a similar thread, please help to redirect and merge. Thanks!
The building of "The 2nd Maasvlakte" is the biggest project in Holland right now. A big 2000 hectare (5000 acre) piece of land is build into the sea, attached to the 1st Maasvlakte that was build in the 60's, to expand the Port of Rotterdam. When it's finished, the Port of Rotterdam will be 20% bigger.
I'm not aware of any, other than a few more metro lines.
Now that's an understatement . I'd say this is some pretty serious construction going on
The Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Access MRT System,
The planned route starts from Terminal II of Taoyuan International Airport and extends eastward, passing through Luzhu, Linkou, Guishan, Xinzhuang, Sanchong, and finally terminating in Taipei City. From the airport, it will also extend southward passing by THSR Taoyuan Station before terminating in Zhongli.[3] The route will be 51.03 km (31.71 mi)-long with 7 underground stations, 15 elevated stations, and two maintenance depots (Chingpu and Lujhu).
