Nuremberg ( Nürnberg ) is my city - borne and raised there.

A wonderful place to live with so many attractions a good clip about the history is here:

but for me it is the food, the smells in the air.

In about three weeks the air will be filled again with cinamon, honey, mulled wine, almonds, hazelnuts a.s.o.

Fresh roasted Brats from Streetvendors.......

and the atmosphere of a traditional franconian restaurant - with no thinking about diets

I lived in several places in Germany, but this is still my favourite city

When I hear someone talking about Nürnberg, immediately comes to my mind the theme of that opera "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg", by Wagner. The city itself looks gorgeous, as most of other cities from Germany. Sometimes I think Germany is a underrated country in the tourist guides.

NYC has many interesting things to do. The newest attractions would be the 9/11 Memorial Museum and the Freedom Tower Observation Deck (which is due to open very soon) and the reopening (after closed for a few years) of the famous Rainbow Room restaurant with its great views.
