When I lived in the U.S, when I wanted to deposit money into my bank account, I had to fill out a deposit slip like it was 1992.
that's not the case anymore. You can make cash deposits at the ATM and you don't even have to count the money. You can also make check deposits on your phone.
Nobody said London is sunnier than Miami. I said London has less rain and fewer rainy days/hours, which is true. Not sure how it can be called dreary when there are 256 days of the year that don't rain, and most days record some sunshine (fewer overcast days than Seattle).
That 'common knowledge' is based entirely on an incorrect stereotype, and only ever seems to come from people who have never lived here.
Seattle has 150 rainy days (more than London), 800 hours of rain and 2100 hours of sunshine which is also more than London. I guess Seattle gets more sunny/cloudless days, but also more overcast days and that's why it receives 400-500 hours more sunshine. London probably has more days with broken clouds and fewer cloudless. There is no place in the US except Alaska and possibly some small town on the immediate Pacific coast that gets as little sunshine as London/UK.

You can't say London/UK. Some part spof the southwest coast get around 2000 hours of sun. The UK isn't London
And a person from Montreal would find the winters of these cities subtropical
On a related note, a cousin of mine is married to someone from Yorkshire in England. When she comes to visit the relatives in Moncton, New Brunswick in the summer she is totally delighted by the days on end of sunshine and temperatures 25C and above every single day! I kid you not.
Ive lived here for 10 years in four different countries!!
overall the US has better customer service, faster, less bureaucracy
its a fact!
So you're basing your post on outdated information unless you left the European continent within the last 3 years. By the way, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and France are not "Europe", they are Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and France. Until the European Union (without Switzerland) becomes a federal republic like the USA and not a confederation, there is no "in Europe".
Well I can't argue there, but the Germans and British are just as punctual as Americans are.

I don't know what the big deal is, either. In Spain, she'd probably have waited a longer time
