Perhaps Europeans dont like LA because it's like the antithesis of what most European cities are like.
LA has tons of walkable neighborhoods, the problem is you need a car to drive to each one because they're spread out all over LA and Orange county.
LA is def one of my fav cities because there is so much to do. You literally have everything there from downtown LA to Echo Park, Silver Lake, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice,Malibu, Laguna Beach,Pasadena, Runyon Canyon trails, Getty Museum, Mulholland Drive, San Fernando Valley, Griffith Observatory, La Brea Tar pits, The Grove, the Farmers Market, just to name a few... Whenever I'm in LA I feel like I cannot possibly cover it all.... it's just overwhelming to me
Those areas are technically not part of LA and Laguna Beach is in Southern Orange County, some distance from LA. Even it's electric utility provider is San Diego Gas & Electric.
Have you ever been to San Francisco? That video did not show any of the things you can see and do along the Embarcadero. It didn't show the farmer's market at the fairy building. Didn't show Pier 39 with all of it's shops, neat little places to eat and an Aquarium. Didn't show the Sea Lions on the docks. Didn't show Ghirardelli Square, the Wax Museum (if it's still there). the helicopter rides, the boat to Alcatraz, Coit Tower. The classic diner. The many food vendors and shops, some very touristy, others uniquely San Francisco in a very special way. Where are the three tin men? The many street music performers and other performers?
Sooo...why don't you go and create an hour long video of the Embarcadero?
I think they're serious. I can't believe it either.
They could be serious. But I think some people enjoy being contrarians. Or simply liking things no one else really likes for the sake of being different.
Objectively, Detroit is probably the worst city in America. It takes depression to new lows.
I do music, not videos. You do see the error in this right?
Why would that stop you from making a video? You pull out a phone and "Voila!" If you're not satisfied with the YouTube videos, then create one that's better.

This isn't about making videos or not making videos. This is about making an inaccurate comparison. You never answered my question, have you been to San Francisco yes or no?

Yes. Why is this even relevant? I simply posted two videos and you're upset because it is not the absolute best representation of the Embarcadero. The video was presumably made by a tourist just like the video of the Rambla. They weren't made by city boosters or a chamber of commerce where every street shot and camera angle is carefully selected and edited.

I'm glad you think this, because you'll stay away. We don't need or want you here.

I'll do my best. But I've gotta say, it's gonna be tough.
