If you were married, in your early 30s, both healthy, and with the legal status to live in the European Union, USA, or Canada, where would you live and why?
It is more socially liberal than the U.S.
It is more fiscally conservative than most of the EU.
It is far more business-friendly than the EU.
Europe is great to visit, but not so great for an outsider to settle in, due to stiff competition for jobs and high population densities.
As for the US, the gun culture, drug culture and general risk of random violence turn me off.
Save for the "gun culture" (which also exists in Canada, just quieter), you are probably just as likely to encounter drugs and random violence in Canada, as you would in 99% of the US.
