will there be robots that go inside your body to operate?

will there be chips implanted in your body that can stop your brain from sending pain signals so people with constant chronic pain can find relief?

will there be light machines that can detect early cancer by you just walking into them?

I was watching a documentary about it... its exciting!

There will be cabins that will examin you, all sort of tests, info will be sent to third world countries with good doctors and low wages, India. There will be cabins capable of performing interventions from a distance or preprogrammed. Genetic info and medicine will be paramount since birth.

The same that happened to medicine in the past 20 years: nothing really important.

In 1995 everyone was expecting that the Human Genome Project would cause a "revolution" in medicine.

People in 1995 expected wonders from medicine by 2015.

Well, the human DNA sequencing was complete by 2003, and what happened? Any "miracles" of medicine? Nothing...

And here we are, 20 years after 1995, and nothing really important changed in medicine.

I think ''Nutrition clinics'' will spring up because people will be so uneducated about nutrition and eating healthy food. That's the future of health.

Malaman, those things will arive, but we won't see them. Having a DNA sequence is just like having a book full or references to find info in a library that does not exist.

It's coming it takes a long time to change things governments suck at these sorts of things it will have to come from the private sector. There is currently someone with a large amount of capital living in Los Angeles working on it darn! I forget his name, but they word is spreading.

Much rather just have a reliable way to jack up your metabolism. That would be more likely to work. You can already get mostly good nutrition advice. The problem is following it. You wouldn't expect an addict to be able to go cold turkey three times a day every day for the rest of their life, but that is exactly how our current approach to weight loss operates.

I think you could begin to see some benefits from tissue cloning ie giving a person a new set of living teeth cloned from their DNA in lieu of dentures. As the world economy continues to grow you could see a real push to develop vaccines for diseases like malaria, dengue fever, and the like. Genetically engineered bacteriophages which are built with a genetic kill switch after a number of generations could make an appearance.
