The US was populated originally by religious settlers, who themselves, had settled various lands before. Now that the United States is so far off course, and such a train wreck domestically and internationally, where will these folks go next?

Austrialia, Argentina? For example, this trival gay rights business law is along the same vein of laws which brought many, many, many, people across the pond. This current issue centers on gay folks, but way back there were other types of religiuos laws that people just couldn't take. So they got onmships and sailed.

Plus if the US west really does go dry, you've got to figure people will leave, and why would you stay in a country going down the drain. The only reason people might stay is because so many other places are just as bad.

There is still a large percent of the world that would love to live in the American definition of a "train wreck". America is still one of the freest places in the world, whether you're a hyper Fundamentalist Christian or a flaming homosexual you are very unlikely to experience anything that is truly oppression. Not saying things can't improve but if you're that miserable then by all means leave and let someone who wants to live here replace you.

They'll go to Idaho. They can set up a large bible belt and grow potatoes while waiting for Armaggedon.

Subtropical doesn't always mean good weather tbh. Taiwan = subtropical and HORRIFIC weather. Same goes with Philippines, they have sooooooooooooo many typhoons.

No that's too close to California the deep South would probably suit them better there's already plenty of bible thumping conservative Chrisitians there.

The US is the train wreck in your eyes, but you think Argentina could be the next global hot spot for immigration? There's really no more to say.

It's already happening and it seems directed mostly to Western Europe, plenty of immigrants have been flocking to our countries ever since the start of this millennium. I think Eastern Europe could be another destination if their economy keeps improving at the rate it currently is, the birth rates are incredibly and there's soon going to be request of fresh and young workforce which these countries can't provide

It's definitely happening. I've noticed that this is hard for some to accept. Patriotism?
Coincidentally, the last 2 girls I dated had plans to move to Europe. I'm looking at Eastern Europe myself. I hope I can get out of here before the economy collapses.

And how many of those are Americans fleeing our totalitarian pro-gay government so that they might be free - as the Puritans were - to oppress others?
